Never Let Me Go, due to be released in the UK on January 21st 2011 and starring possibly the finest young talent Britain has to offer in the wonderfully charismatic Carey Mulligan, already firmly established on both sides of the pond, Keira Knightly and relative new comer, although not for long if my spidey senses are correct, Andrew Garfeild.
Based on the Kazuo Ishiguro Novel of the same name.
This story follows three young adults; Tommy, Ruth and Kathy. We meet them as children as they spend their time in the, seemingly, picture perfect English boarding school where the inhabitants are ritually told that they are special, and must keep themselves healthy & well. Hmmm, very ominous. As they grow up into young adults we watch as they each try to come to terms with the power of their love for each other and try to hang on to, and make sense of their, past. Of course that is not all this trio will have to come to terms with as we join them on their journey and all the things they are seemingly fated to meet.
